So all my AP tests are over with, but my math teacher is a JERKFACE SERIOUSLY ASLKJDFa and I have a test on monday over something that I missed a lot of and basically have to teach myself because he's an awful teacher. kjadsf;sma/md.,jakakj

anyway... hopefully things should clear up after that.

More importantly, our school is putting on a production of ALICE IN WONDERLAND!!!! (seriously, that's not gonna help my obsession lessen AT ALL, hahaa)

It's not until next fall, but I'm already so excited I started designing costumes and everything. and... FOR SOME REASON, I decided to try auditioning for a role (the dormouse, a small part that I think I could handle). yes. actually acting. I haven't had the confidence to try this for ages, but I think if I put my mind to it I might be able to. I just have to get over my stupid self conciousness issues. I actually was really into acting for a while in like elementary school and middle school, but in highschool I've just been doing things like painting set and designing costumes. I just decided... hey, I'm going to be a senior next year, and this will be my last chance to try it. And if it was anything other than Alice in Wonderland, I probably wouldn't bother. but... I'm gonna give it a try. xD



ALSO, on another subject, I've had this plot/storyline/WHAT HAVE YOU running around in my mind for a while, and finally lately I have a really good grasp on it and for the first time in my life, think I might be motivated to MAKE SOMETHING OF IT.

It all involves... vampires. (yeah I dunno, you may think it's cliche, and it may be, but I still like it.)

I really think I might make it into a graphic novel of sorts, if my motivation continues.

I've always wanted to write a book, or a comic, but whenever I tried in the past it would always turn out really silly and meaningless, and I'd never have much of a plot in my mind, I'd just go with whatever, and eventually give up. The problem wasn't that I couldn't write well... I'm a good writer. The problem was that none of my plots were any good. xD

For the past 3 years or so, I've kind of given up on that aspiration. I've always had loose segments of ideas floating in my mind, but it wasn't until now that they've finally come together to FORM something... something WHOLE, or nearly so.


So, I'm afraid to give away much of it except to my closest friends, just for advice and such. But would you all be interested if I started a graphic novel, if I were to submit it page by page to my DA?

I HOPE SO.

because for me, this is one step closer to what I've been working for.
I want to write books, and to illustrate them. That kind of dark children's books with a profound underlying meaning.
that's my dream job.


I also just finished the Amber Spyglass a couple days ago. MY GOODNESS... that has got to be my new favorite book. it's so deep, so... aslkdjflak
All I can say is...
That book is a masterpiece.
