Here's an earlier project from my collage class.
I didn't realize just how many things I made in this past 6 weeks, so I've got a LOT to upload.
And of course, it was very smart of me to wait until the last minute to photograph and edit them all in time for the final crit tomorrow. 3 hours of staring at the computer will do bad things to your eyes and make you blink a lot and generally give you a headache.
SOOOO THIS PROJECT.
We started out by making 3 weird faces by cutting up 8 pictures of famous people. I honestly don't even remember who any of them were.
THENNN we made bodies and scenes for each of those three faces. (I'll upload the other two soon)
THEN we chose one of those three scenes to make a sequential accordian book with. And that's what this is!
It's kind of hard to tell what's going on because this is kind of too busy and I kind of spent much longer on it than I should've.
Well, basically, it's this lady at a very modern hair salon waiting to get her hair cut, and then an owl in the window steals the scissors from the hairdresser and cuts off all of the lady's hair. Kinda hard to see the owl though, Especially in the picture...
The section at the top is just what the back of it looks like. It's actually an accordian book.
This was made with magazine clippings, silver crinkly paper, paint, acrylic glaze, and lots of other things ugghghh idk
