Artist's CommentsMy first wire sculpture!  It's supposed to be a larger bird whose "ribcage" is the cage for the smaller bird. I kinda wish I'd done the ribcage better, since it's pretty hard to see the little bird. Hrrmm. But other than that I like how this came out. The larger bird is some kind of cross between a flamingo, a peacock and a phoenix. xD URGHH the internet disconnects every time I try to upload an image. This is beyond frustrating. Dx The sculpture is about 18 inches long, just to give you a general idea of size. The first picture was taken in front of my window, which has a lovely view of Providence. I've seen so many pretty sunsets there. The largest black wire is iron, I think? But I'm not sure... At any rate, I do not like it, and it left gross black metally stuff on my hands.
