Commission for 
OH MAN. So it took me forever to figure out exactly HOW I wanted to do this piece, which is part of the reason why it's so delayed! But I'm pretty happy with the result.
This is pretty much a tribute to the album "Common Dreads" by Enter Shikari. I decided to include the lyrics (mostly spoken) to Common Dreads, the song at the beginning of the album, because it pretty much sums up the whole thing nicely. And on that note I hope that I got the lyrics right, because I found from the numerous places I tried to look them up on the internet to check them that... those were all horribly wrong. Some of them I was just like... REALLY? This couldn't even have been misheard. Ugh. But if I'm wrong on these, I can still fix them. Also, you can't see the words on the middle part on this picture of it, but you can in the actual thing. Photo glare, do not want.
Anyhoo, I hope this is what you were envisioning Allie! I'm addicted to this album now. xD
materials: painted construction paper for the textured lion, which was cut out with scissors... patterned paper for back, acrylic paint, white gel pen, probably lots of other things that I can't think of. The city in the background is very very very loosely based on the London skyline.
