Report a Policy Violation
For those who have many watchers, and for those who don’t have many, it is hard to know how one retains that interest as well as receive more. This article explores the basics of watchers and how we react to certain situations. Although it does not affect some deviants, and the tips are generally related to common sense, we hope the article is a worthwhile read and that the majority learn something from reading this.

Artist's CommentsI've been working on this for the past 3 days. LABOR INTENSIVE ART, MUCH? I've been wanting to do this for a while though. I tried a bunch of experimental stuff here, and it was pretty fun even though it took a long time. SO. Vahn again. :] First of all, I had to cut him out. As you can see from the really detailed ragged edges... this was NOT an easy task. I probably gave myself arthritis using these tiny little scissors, until I found my exacto knife at the very end, which was GLORIOUS. I painted the background seperately (acrylic and gouache mixed) and glued all the pieces of Vahn on top with rubber cement WHICH KILLS BRAINCELLS WITH THOSE FUMES. THEN I took some black thread and sewed stitches into the front legs, tail, wing, and moon. so yeah. This involved a lot of patience and work, but I'm proud of the result. Unfortunately the picture was not only a bit too big for the scanner, but the scanner also felt like not cooperating with colors. GOOD JOB SCANNER. 8D I did my best to fix things but... regardless, it still looks much, MUCH better IRL. You can't really get the full effect of the thread and the cut-out looking 3D... UGHH. Oh yes, and he doesn't have any claws (or, just doesn't have them out? I guess he's pretty happy for once). I actually planned on cutting them out seperately and then gluing them on top, but that ended up looking like crap so I just decided no claws was a better idea. xD but yeah. I really love teal and pink together, and since Vahn sorta matches that it seemed to work. xD Download for full size please!
