This was my second assignment for my 3D class. I reaaallly liked this assignment, since it gave me a lot more freedom. It was basically to create anything out of bristol board that represented the theme "growth."

Deer with tree-like antlers were the first thing I thought of. It ended up working pretty well. I cut pretty much the entire thing with scissors. (seeing as whenever I try to cut things with exacto knives, they look terrible. You can see this on the close up of the baby deer's eye, hehehe)

There is almost no glue involved, everything is mostly attached with just notches.

I'm pretty proud of these though. I'm definitely not a sculpturey person, so this was quite an accomplishment for me.

Those're really beautiful! X3 I've been loving all your art, but these "sculptures" like this you've been doing recently have really been amazing~ (I cannot cut with scissors OR X-acto knives. XD; )

But this is really lovely~ Wonderful job~

Should try get these made out of thin metal.
