I actually have eight of these fox drawings in total, but I liked this one enough to want to submit it seperately. I also got distracted and ended up messing around with it in photoshop a bunch (there we go, taking advantage of my last 2 days of trial...) xD

This is for my drawing class. We were just supposed to do 8 drawings of anything natural using wet charcoal, so I drew this fox taxidermy that was in our nature lab. Towards the end it wasn't enough for me to just draw it, so I started adding in other parts like the evil fox shadow. :P

I've gotta say, wet charcoal is SO, SO SO much better than dry charcoal! It's my new best frand, it's ALMOST like using watercolors, but you're mashing around gooey charcoal with your fingers. wheeeee.

original size is 18 x 24 inches.
And it doesn't look quite like the original since I messed with it in photoshop so much. xD

I'll upload the other seven soon, as well as a TON of other stuff.

Oh I love working with wet charcoal 8D It's so fun to work with and it has really nice effects n_n You did a wonderful job with it here. <3

Another medium I would suggest for you is Oil and Charcoal. (oil can be like the oil for oil paints etc) It has a really nice silky black look to it and its relatively easy to work with. Careful though, you don't want to get it on your clothes XD
