Bahhh well I decided I'm gonna submit more of my school arts this year. I might as well show people everything I'm busy with these days. xD
This is kinda boring... but eh. IDUNNO.
We were supposed to do something with repetition that's a "tool"

And I just thought that the human heart is a tool (physically and metaphorically)
I guess it has a lot of meaning to me because of that... :/

It's weird though, when I was young I had this DEEP phobia of internal organs. I once had this nightmare that I was inside a pumping heart... and it was my house. I still remember being terrified by it.
For some reason though, I don't find it so hard to draw things like this anymore, I think there's a certain beauty in the heart now and all that stuff. It's interesting how my perspective's changed.
For some reason I thought this looked more like a floating island with trees growing out of the top.

and as far as the process goes, I just painted this with black acrylic on constuction paper, then flipped and repeated and changed colors digitally.

It reminds me of something Andy Warhol would make :)

I really like the colors and the concept :D

I actually find internal organs to be cool.....

i get what you mean about the organs, i have a freaky complex with veins, but this somehow did't freak me out at all. it's really cool.

Floating islands with trees and hearts, both at the same time... it rather brings to mind those optical illusions - awesome! :thumbsup: Achieving such a high degree of detail with acrylic paint is mighty impressive too; great work!
