UHHHH I did this a couple weeks ago? It's one of those "I don't really think this is good enough to submit to DA but I'll go against my better judgement and submit it anyway since I have nothing better to do."

I think after doing all my art traditionally, my digital art skills have definitely suffered. xD
Or for some reason I'm a lot worse at it on this computer. HMMM.

WELL UMMM I really wanted to have a bird character.
And at the time I was thinking STEAMPUNK CROW ARCHAOPTERYX OMG!
HIS NAME IS KOFFNE. HE HAS A NAME.

This whole thing has taught me that:
1. Emily needs to brush up on her bird anatomy. SERIOUSLY.
2. Emily needs to brush up on her digital art too.
3. DO NOT DIP YOUR PAINTBRUSH IN TEA (or at least tea that you plan to drink) WHILE PAINTING. Even though that has nothing to do with this particular work of ahhht, it is still a good piece of advice.

I have a TON of things to submit that I just haven't gotten around to. There will be much more, I promise. And hopefully not all of it will be this crappy. D;


media Adobe photoshop elements 1.1, pictures of gears that I used from various google image searches, a texture from someone on the internet because I don't have my OWN textures on this computer... And ummm that's about it.

He's a pretty cool fellow.
Instead of making bird sounds, when he opens his mouth he makes loud ticking noises because the clock on his throat is hooked up to his larynx. C8
