You know, with a HP obsession as serious as I've been going through, it's impossible that I could've avoided doing a picture like this for much longer.

First of all, I've tried repeatedly- at least six times- to draw our dear friends the Marauders. Every time, I'd not be satisfied with the sketch, and throw it aside and forget about it. Even this time, there's still things that bother me about it. I guess I could never express these characters well enough because... they're just too amazing, and I feel like I can't capture them quite right.

Even so, I forced myself to just COMPLETE a picture of them for once.

After reading the 7th book, I was motivated even more to draw the four of them. Here they are, on one of their many adventures under the full moon, as well as dear Severus, who knows there's something fishy about those four mischievious Gryffindors.

I'm tempted to go on about a few things, but I won't put any spoilers here. [If you are tempted to do so as well, please be careful in your comments! We don't want to spoil anything for people who haven't read it yet.]

They were originally drawn and colored with markers, then scanned. I added in a background and adjusted the colors a bit with photoshop. So I guess I'll consider this more digital work than traditional, though this one is both.

I'm pretty pleased with how this came out. There may be inaccuracies, but this is how I see the characters.
I'm not really good at humans either, but I did TRY to draw Severus. :]
